Let’s start with the super-rich tomato soup. But first, chop up all your veggies and season them with olive oil, salt, and Italian seasoning.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and roast–not bake–the veggies for about 15 minutes. Remember to separate the garlic from other veggies while roasting them.
After roasting, take out the garlic and put the rest into a pot. Then, start blending all the other veggies into the soup base.
Next, add in the chopped herb, parmesan, and heavy cream. Season everything with salt and pepper, and add some adobo while letting the soup simmer.
While the soup simmers, let’s work on the grilled cheese sandwich. Slice up some sourdough bread and butter on both sides of the bread.
Toni then shares her secret to her tasty grilled cheese sandwich: add mayo in between the cheese.
“Trust me on this,” Toni says confidently.
After putting in all the ingredients, you may start grilling the sandwich. Dip that whole thing in your tomato soup. Mmm-hmm, yum!
