Then, she hung up the phone on her mother and has not spoken to her ever since that conversation. However, she has spoken to one of her sisters– who claimed that their mother said she was really rude on the phone. Her sister also kind of agreed with her mother but still believed she had a right to deliver the “wake-up call.”
Regardless, though, she is at a total loss about what to do now. She has been left with no money and has people threatening to sue her family if they do not start paying back her stepdad’s debts.
She is also still out of work because there is a lack of opportunities in her field right now, and her next work contract does not start until December.
“I am terrified, exhausted, and in dire need of money. I want to cry, and I need help because I just want to tap out already,” she vented.
She also cannot get over her mother’s actions and admits that she still wants to berate her mother for allowing a man to screw them over twice.
Despite all of these distraught feelings, though, she still kind of feels bad for calling her mother a fool and has been wondering whether that was the wrong thing to do or not.
Can you understand why her mother and sisters wanted to take her stepdad back or not? Do you believe her mother is at fault, too, for allowing her stepdad to have access to her savings? If you were in her shoes, how would you have handled hearing this tragic news?
