Their daughters are now 4-years-old, and although he thought that everything was smooth sailing with their family, his girlfriend has not been feeling the same way.
“My girlfriend sat me down and admitted to looking into putting our children into adoption,” he explained.
“I didn’t expect this, so I admit, I reacted pretty negatively to this. She told me her reason for this was because she wasn’t enjoying being a mother anymore.”
“She believes that if we give our children away, she and I can go back to enjoying life and being happy. I’m already happy! I have a family, a great home, and a fun job. I told her this; that our children are my love and top priority.”
“She didn’t like this at all and felt I was “choosing” our children and ignoring our happiness as a couple. I didn’t even have an opportunity to speak because she got up and walked out.”
His girlfriend’s confession came 2 weeks ago, and everything only got worse from there. Several days ago, his girlfriend questioned him about still not wanting to put their daughters up for adoption.
He let his girlfriend know that he did still feel the same way; he was not interested in giving the girls up for someone else to raise.
Well, his girlfriend lost it, and then she admitted to him that she had cheated on him with another teacher she works with, as this guy is far more free-spirited than he is.
His girlfriend then revealed that she has been seeing this other go for some time and wants to leave him for this other guy.
“She loves the feeling of being with someone with no “restrictions” and someone that could do whatever they wanted without worrying about kids,” he said.
“I panicked; I’ll be honest when I say I didn’t take this too well. I was upset. Told her how could she even think about sleeping with another man when we have children together, a home, and responsibilities. She doesn’t want any of that, her reasoning is that she wants to be free again.”
