Start by whipping a block of cream cheese in a mixer. Once it’s nice and fluffy, add in a cup of powdered sugar and two teaspoons of vanilla. Make sure to mix well for a smooth and creamy texture.
Then, toss in a container of frozen whipped topping before pouring in a half cup of crushed candy canes into the mixture.
You can add more for an extra peppermint flavor if you’d like! Let the dip sit in the refrigerator for about an hour. Once it’s set, garnish it with more candy cane pieces on top.
Now, as for what you can eat with the dip, @ywmfamily uses pretty much anything chocolate–Oreos, chocolate animal crackers, fudge pirouettes–you know, the works.
Additionally, Christmas cookies contribute to the treat’s festiveness, and pretzels are a good option if you want to combine the salty and the sweet.
