So, at that point, her boyfriend was understandably really upset and just wanted the mess to be dealt with. After he attempted to clean it up himself, though, the damage was apparently already done.
In fact, the pee had actually soaked into the wood floor so much that the smell was still lingering in their bedroom. And according to her, her boyfriend just would not stop talking about it.
And at that point, she decided to apologize but also remind her boyfriend that she has depression. In other words, she does not feel motivated to get up most days.
When talking to a friend about this entire situation, though, her friend ended up telling her that it was “kind of disgusting, to be honest.”

If you have ever gotten a puppy, how long did it take to train them? Is Kito’s behavior normal, or does her boyfriend have a right to be frustrated? What about the pee situation– do you think she should have gotten up to clean it earlier? If her mental health is interfering with her ability to care for the dog, does that raise questions about her fitness to be a pup parent?
