The bottle was really heavy, even had engraved writing on it, and was very old. So, it is reasonable to assume that the bottle cost his brother a couple of hundred dollars.
Plus, after his brother actually gave him the gift, you can imagine how shocked he was. He did not freak out or anything, though.
Instead, he just told his brother that he did not drink but said thanks for the present anyway.
Well, his brother then decided to crack open the bottle in the middle of the party and began pouring shots into plastic cups for everybody. Then, his daughter went into shock.
“My daughter had a panic attack at the smell of the alcohol, which I am painfully aware is my fault, and I will never forgive myself for it,” he revealed.
So, at that point, he told his brother to take the alcohol out onto the balcony and leave it outside. Still, though, his brother refused to listen and actually just took a shot of the whiskey instead.
Then, even after he told his brother to stop in a much more serious and firm tone, his brother just kept pouring out drinks. And afterward, his brother had the nerve to try and demonize him for being sober.
“My brother said I am acting like a sober saint now when I ruined everyone’s birthdays for years with my drinking,” he recalled.
And that understandably pissed him off, so he told his brother to follow him into the hallway to talk the situation out.
Yet again, though, his brother refused. Then, his brother actually put a glass of whiskey into his hand!
At that moment, he decided to just grab the trash can, throw the bottle of whiskey and all of the plastic cups in it, and take the trash out to the curb. And apparently, his brother was furious.
