His Brother Got Him An Expensive Bottle Of Whiskey For His Birthday Even Though He Is 6 Years Sober, So He Threw It Out, And Now His Whole Family Is Furious With Him

In fact, his brother ended up storming off, and his mother followed suit. Then, later that evening, his mom actually called him and tried to demand that he apologize.

Apparently, he got accused of disrespecting his brother. Then, his dad even claimed that he was being “overly sensitive.”

Shockingly, some of his other family members have even since agreed with his parents and brother, too.

So now, he has been left wondering whether throwing out the bottle of whiskey was a smart decision to make for his sobriety or if it actually just made him a jerk, like everyone is saying.

Would you ever buy alcohol for someone you knew was sober? Why do you think his brother thought that was a good idea? Did he react in a reasonable way? If you had been in this situation, how would you have handled it?
