She Named Her Baby Girl “Eddie-Munson” After The “Stranger Things” Character Without Her Husband’s Permission, And Now Her Entire Family Is Furious

She only told her husband and one of her best friends about this plan, and she claims they “endlessly supported her.” Still, she did not yet have any clue which characters to choose as a namesake.

Well, that was until season four of the show came out, and she was introduced to the edgy yet comical character Eddie Munson. At that point, she claims to have instantly fallen in love.

She was infatuated with his goofy vibe and honestly thought the actor who played Eddie– Joseph Quinn– was quite attractive, too. Even her younger sister, who was sixteen, could not get enough of Eddie, either.

Then, tragedy struck. Apparently, her sister had fallen ill a few years ago but had been on the upswing earlier this year.

The recovery period was brought to a screeching halt, though, and her sister’s health, unfortunately, declined severely after. Ultimately, her sister passed away in August of this year.

She and her entire family were there when they lost her sister. And somewhat shockingly, her sister’s last words were actually about Stranger Things.

“I can’t wait to see you, Eddie Munson,” her sister reportedly said.

And according to her, her mother was beyond upset by that. In fact, her mom even made a comment about how her sister did not love her family enough and only cared about “that stupid show.”

Plus, since she was really the one who introduced her sister to Stranger Things, her mom kind of drifted following her sister’s passing.

Her sister’s last words ultimately sparked a “light bulb moment” in her mind, though, and she fell in love with the idea of naming her baby “Eddie Munson.”

After all, she wanted to use a character’s name from the show, and she believed using Eddie’s would be a great way to honor her sister.
