She Screamed At Her Best Friend That She’s A Bad Friend, Before Kicking Her Out Of Her House, And Now She’s Wondering If She Really Was Mean In That Moment
A 29-year-old woman got pregnant unexpectedly, and she currently has an 18-month-old little girl named Ciara.
As soon as she became a mom, she did end up losing some of her friends, but one person who still stayed in her life is her 31-year-old best friend named Mia.
She says that Mia has never wanted to be a mom, but she’s made a big effort with Ciara, and she has a great relationship with her daughter.
“I’m a SAHM and obviously don’t have as much time to hang out as I did previously,” she explained.
“Mia and I live on the same street (we’re in Manchester, England), and it’s a walking distance between our houses. I’ve told Mia numerous times that she can just pop in whenever she wants to (she works from home), but she rarely does.”
“She did at the beginning, but it’s been happening less and less. Instead, she keeps suggesting we go out for coffee or pizza or even a drink, but I don’t have the time and always just tell her to come over, and we’ll have coffee at my place.”
Last weekend, Mia asked her if she wanted to meet up with her and a few of her friends to grab some drinks, but she declined.
Instead, she offered to have Mia drop by and have drinks at her house. Mia replied that she couldn’t do that, as she had already promised her friends they would go out, and she felt strange drinking in front of a little girl.
Well, Mia’s answer left her feeling pushed aside and like she was no longer a priority in her life.

She is always free and has a flexible schedule, yet Mia never drops by her house to hang out with her.
“Today, I saw her photos from Saturday night out, and I was fuming,” she said. “She ditched me just so she could go and drink like she’s 20 again. I felt rejected and horrible, I thought we were best friends, but she clearly doesn’t value me when she won’t even have a few drinks with me at my house.”
“When she finished work, she called and asked if I fancied going for coffee to town, but I asked her to come over again. She said yes, but before she disconnected, I heard her mumble, “like always.” This really annoyed me.”
When Mia got to her house, the floodgates opened, and she couldn’t hide how she felt about their friendship anymore.
She then ended up screaming at Mia that she’s a terrible friend, especially since she never comes to her house to hang out with her.
She also yelled at Mia to be honest and stop stringing her along if she doesn’t want to be friends anymore.
“She said she’s always been accommodating, but it’s been 2 years, and she doesn’t want to spend time with me when there’s always a kid, especially now when she has to watch her language (Mia likes to swear),” she continued.
“I said that she knew I had a child and responsibilities. And she said that Tom (my partner) could take care of Ciara once in a while so I could have a time off.”
“This felt really intrusive, and I told her to mind her own business and not meddle in my marriage.”
She was so furious with Mia that she kicked her right out of her house. As Mia walked out the door, she accused her of being self-centered.
By now, she fully anticipated that Mia would have called her up to say sorry, but she hasn’t heard a single word from Mia at all.
She’s beginning to think that there’s a chance she was super mean to Mia in that moment. She’s left wondering if she was too rude to Mia and if she should have revealed her feelings in a calmer way.
