She Wants To Adopt Her Niece Because Her Sister Has Made No Effort To Be Involved In Her Niece’s Life Over The Last 6 Months, But Now Her Sister Is Accusing Her Of Trying To “Steal” The Baby

Plus, despite Jane finding a job and place to live– albeit not as safe as she might have liked– her sister still has yet to offer to take any financial responsibility.

“Not even in the form of buying Sara gifts. And Jane doesn’t call to talk to her or see her,” she added.

And honestly, this started to really worry her. So, she recently sat down to speak with Jane about all of this, but she believes her sister’s excuses are bogus.

According to her, Jane believes that being even slightly involved in Sara’s life is just too emotionally hurtful since Jane claims to really miss her daughter.

And in terms of visitation, Jane defended herself by saying that she did not have enough money to afford a car or purchase Uber rides or diapers.

“But I told her how absolutely ridiculous that all is. You don’t need a car or money to call or text,” she said.

On top of that, she and her wife have always made it clear that they would be willing to bring Sara to Jane’s home.

And in terms of the financial aspect, she believes that Jane does have money. Rather than spending it on her daughter, though, she claims that Jane has been spending a “wasteful” amount of cash on things like food and vapes.

Still, following that conversation, she tried to give her sister the benefit of the doubt and some more time to get her act together. It appears that Jane still has not made any changes, though.

And now, she and her wife feel as though they have no other option but to look into their legal adoption options.

According to her, Sara has been legally abandoned. Plus, she and her wife only need to hold onto her niece for a bit longer before the court will allow for the termination of both Jane’s and Jane’s ex-husband’s rights entirely.
