“I have a good salary but little savings to fall back on. I sort of feel like I’m being taken for a ride. I’ve always paid for more due to my salary being higher, but this feels like a big jump.”

Alternatively, he knows his girlfriend could live at home with her mom and dad to save money or live at college while also taking out a loan to cover the costs of her master’s.
Another thing worth adding is that his job right now is in technology sales, but his dream is to be able to get into the army.
He’s still planning on pursuing his dream, and if he does get accepted while he’s living with his girlfriend, he mentioned to his girlfriend that he would be willing to push back his start date.
His girlfriend, in contrast, has no desire to take his feelings into consideration on her path of pursuing a master’s and won’t push back her start date on that past this upcoming September.
“I would also like to add she’s making me feel like I’m a bad person for not being 100% okay with this…” he added.
