This 29-year-old woman has been married to her husband, who is 33, for four years. They were also together for five years before tying to knot.

And over the course of their relationship, she and her husband have had four children together. They have also purchased their own home in the countryside, and she honestly believed they lived a “pretty decent life.”

Yes, they tended to fight more than the average couple. However, she claims that they were both aware of that.

“And we have been working hard to improve our relationship,” she said.

Recently, though, her husband got a new fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) job– which means that he flies to work for two weeks before flying home for one week.

So, as you can imagine, this arrangement is definitely difficult. Still, she claims that they were making her husband’s new job work for them.

Plus, on Valentine’s Day, she recognized how her husband went out of his way to make her feel special. Apparently, he surprised her by flying home and showing up with a bouquet of flowers.

“It was beautiful, and I thought everything was great,” she recalled.

Later that night, however, she uncovered some horrifying texts in her husband’s phone.

It all began when she went on her husband’s phone to apparently see if he had texted his brother something. Then, after opening up her husband’s messages, she saw a text from one of his new female coworkers just sitting there.

“Who will I drink with tonight?” the text read, followed by a frowning face.

She also noticed that her husband had text notifications turned off on the coworker’s messages, which is why she never saw anything. Plus, she realized that there were no other texts in their conversation history.

So, she decided to check her husband’s deleted texts and ultimately found a lot of incriminating messages.

Apparently, the coworker had only gotten her husband’s phone number four days prior. Yet, over that short period of time, she claims that they were constantly texting each other.

It just so happened that during those four days, she noticed that her husband had been “radio silent” toward her, too.

“I read the texts, and they were so flirty, it was disgusting,” she revealed.

“She was talking about how when she drinks, she gets touchy-feely and said that she hopes they could be on the work truck together all day again. And he reciprocated those desires.”

So, she was shell-shocked and decided to immediately wake up her husband to confront him. According to her, though, he basically just denied any wrongdoing.

In fact, her husband claimed to have deleted the messages because he knew she would “overreact.”

He also said that he silenced the coworker’s text notifications because he did not want to be texting her while he was at home.

Now, ever since then, she has been unable to sleep and cannot stop thinking about what might have happened had she never found the texts.

She is also pretty sure that what she discovered counts as cheating. At the same time, though, she has been left wondering whether her husband is right and if she really is “just emotionally overreacting.”

Does cheating have to be physical, or can it also be emotional? If you found these texts on your partner’s phone, how would you feel? Do you think she is really overreacting, or does she have a right to be furious? If you were in her shoes, how would you handle this situation?
