“Our friends have said that it’s not fun having out with our brother when she’s around because she makes everything about her, she’s not really into getting to know anyone, or she’ll bring one of her single girlfriends uninvited, and it’s just mega awkward for everyone.”
One of his and his brother’s friends has a birthday happening soon, and they’re all going to have a night out in the city. His brother stated that he would like to bring the woman that he’s seeing, but he reminded his brother that their friend just wants his closest friends there.
His brother agreed to go to the party alone, but then when this woman found out about the party, she insisted on coming too. He mentioned to his brother that it wasn’t ok for him to bring this woman to the party since it was supposed to be close friends only, but his brother got really upset.
Then, this woman sent a message to his sister on social media demanding to know why she was not invited to the party too. His sister responded back that the guest list was reserved for their friend’s closest friends, but then this woman shot back that he is envious of his brother since he’s single.
“I messaged her myself after that and reiterated this gathering was for close friends only, she was not invited, and that I would appreciate it if she was more respectful toward myself and my family, and now my brother isn’t talking to any of us,” he said.
After everything that has happened surrounding his friend’s upcoming birthday party, he no longer wants this woman at any social events he and his brother go to.
He’s left wondering if that’s wrong of him. What do you think?
