When she and Tom then headed home later that evening, Tom was furious with her. He insisted that his mom and dad didn’t like her unique hair, and because of that, they most likely would never like her.
Tom snapped that she should have listened to him and covered her hair as he had asked, as that would have made the meet and greet go better.
Tom also said his parents clearly do not approve of them being together after all of this. She’s left wondering if it was wrong of her not to want to wear a wig or cover her hair with a scarf.
