Now, afterward, the dinner was obviously pretty awkward. And once the meal was over, everyone basically just left.
Still, the drama was far from done. The very next day, her sister proceeded to text her an entire paragraph urging her to apologize to her brother-in-law– because her comment apparently hurt him and made him look bad in front of her parents.
Quite frankly, though, she told her sister to leave her alone.
And since then, everyone has taken her side except her mom– who believes she could at least apologize just to avoid all of the drama.
Nonetheless, with tensions still thick between her and her sister, she’s now been left wondering whether calling out her sister and brother-in-law was the wrong thing to do.
