Regardless of that, he detailed how their relationship was great for a while. He made sure that he was not too reliant on Jen, and she still insisted on helping him out. For instance, whenever he struggled to order food or navigate around new places.

And to thank his ex-girlfriend for being such a great partner, he decided to gift her luxury items and take her on trips overseas.

This reportedly made Jen really happy, too, which obviously made him overjoyed. However, just six months into their relationship, everything changed out of nowhere. At that point, Jen claimed to have realized that she wanted a partner who was independent.

“And Jen did not want to be seen as someone who was dating a blind person, so she broke up with me,” he recalled.

So, this obviously broke his heart. But he tried to be understanding, and he worked on getting over the heartbreak.

Then, about four months later, he decided to invite four of his closest friends on a trip to Japan. He thought the vacation would be a great way to move on and also spend some quality time with his friends.

He also paid for all of the flights and accommodations for the vacation, which finally took place just last week. He felt that all of his friends were super accommodating, too, and were very appreciative of his generosity.

However, one of his friends wound up posting a story on Instagram about the trip. So, his ex-girlfriend Jen found out about it and decided to ask his friend about the vacation.

It was at that point that his friend revealed to Jen that he had paid for the entire thing. Additionally, Jen realized he had lied about his income and flight benefits.

This apparently really upset his ex-girlfriend, too, because she actually wound up calling him to confront him about the lie. And while on the phone, Jen even claimed that if he had been honest about his finances, then she would have stayed with him!

Still, he tried to explain how past partners had already taken advantage of him. So, he claimed that his reason for lying was that he just didn’t want to be treated like that again.
