His Neighbor Totaled Her Car And Has Been Asking To Use His Car Ever Since, But Now He Feels That She’s Taking Advantage Of Him

But now, she’s using his car almost every day and is leaving it in worse condition than before she takes it. She leaves trash inside of it, doesn’t replace the gas, and has even caused a minor dent.

He started to feel like she was taking advantage of his kindness and generosity.

“I decided to address this with her and told her she could no longer borrow my car,” he explained.

“She seemed taken aback and became upset.”

His neighbor told him she had become very reliant on his help and told him he was being selfish for suddenly taking away his car.

A few other neighbors on their block heard about what happened and told him he was being too harsh with her since she’s a single mom struggling to keep it all together.

“I feel my vehicle was being misused and taken for granted,” he said.

“I’m trying to be understanding, but at the same time, I feel taken advantage of.”

Should he allow his neighbor to continue using his car, or was he right to make her stop?
