She Finally Cut Off Her Brother’s Baby Mama And Is Now Making This Girl Pay Her Own Bills After Her Mom Kept Sending Her Close To $1,000 Every Month

The past few years have been extremely challenging for this woman. Back in April 2021, her mom was diagnosed with ALS.
Then, in September of that year, her 28-year-old younger brother passed away following an accidental fentanyl overdose.
The following year was also very difficult since her 41-year-old sister nearly died due to alcoholism in 2022. And that same year, her dad also nearly died due to congestive heart failure.
And more recently, in May of this year, her mom died of ALS.
It is probably tough to imagine dealing with this much turmoil over such a short period of time. But, while she’s attempted to cope with all of these losses and near-death experiences, her younger brother’s 30-year-old “baby mama” has not been helping whatsoever.
Before her mother died, her brother’s girlfriend actually had her mother paying for practically everything.
Her mom paid for everything from the girl’s new car, car insurance, phone, and phone bill to clothes and toys for her 8-year-old nephew.
“This all adds up to nearly a thousand dollars a month. My mom was doing this so that she could still have access and see my nephew– my dead brother’s son,” she explained.
However, her brother’s “baby mama” does not work, and claims to have chronic back pain. But, according to her, the girl has already been to numerous doctors who all refuse to prescribe any more pain medication or fill out more disability paperwork.

Her nephew’s mother is also in and out of rehabilitation facilities for opioid abuse. In fact, the week before her brother passed away, the girl actually overdosed, too.
But she knows that the girl’s parents have a lot of money because they have actually told her.
So, two months after her mother died, she asked the girl to take over the phone bill and insurance.
Then, she told her nephew’s mother to either pay off the car– since the girl already got all of her brother’s life insurance– or she offered to just sell the vehicle.
Yet the girl’s own parents apparently did not want to take over the remaining payments– worth $17,000– since they didn’t want to pay interest.
“Apparently, they were fine with my mom paying interest,” she explained.
“And the woman sends me some money to pay the bills, but it’s not all of it, and I’m already knee-deep in my mom’s paperwork and bills because I’m the executor.”
So, she has honestly been feeling quite miserable. On the one hand, she obviously loves her nephew and wants to remain in his life.
But on the other hand, she cannot afford to just act like the girl’s parent or secretary.
“She keeps just saying it’s been so hard for her with my mom dying. And I live six hours away from her, so it’s not like I can easily just fix this, either,” she vented.
That’s why she wound up deciding to give the girl two months to switch everything over and take financial responsibility.
But, her nephew’s mother has not responded to her. And now, she’s been left wondering whether cutting her brother’s baby mama off monetarily was the wrong thing to do.
Can you imagine dealing with all of this turmoil? Is it her responsibility to financially support her nephew’s mother? Did she do the right thing by pulling the financial plug?
