A Guy She Went On A Date With Introduced Her As His Cousin To His Friends At A Baseball Game, And He Ended Up Being A Cheater
If your date does not want to tell people that you’re his date, that makes it clear that he’s not serious about you. It’s also highly likely that he’s trying to hide something, possibly the fact that he’s already in a relationship.
TikToker Kristina (@lifewithlocklyn) is retelling a dating story about a guy who introduced his date as his cousin.
Surprisingly, the guy and the girl did not meet online. Instead, they met organically while getting drinks at a bar after work.
After exchanging phone numbers with each other, he would only text her while he was at work, which was the first red flag.
Still, they seemed to be hitting it off, so he asked her if she wanted to come and watch his baseball game, and she agreed. As they were driving to the baseball game, he told her that he would introduce her to everyone as his cousin who was visiting from out of town.
The reason he gave for presenting her as his cousin was that he had just gotten out of a serious relationship, and he didn’t want his baseball team to know that he was moving on so quickly.
The girl found his claim to be super fishy, but she decided to play along. She sat with a few wives of the baseball team, and they struck up a conversation during the game.
The women asked her why she was in town. She informed them that she was there for moral support and to help her cousin get through his devastating breakup.
When the wives heard the word “breakup,” they became confused. They quickly picked up their phones and started texting furiously.

The girl’s work was through. She called for a ride, left in the middle of the game, and never spoke to him again.
Several TikTok users praised the girl in the story for how she handled the situation, and others criticized the guy for being a liar and a cheater.
