“I’ve talked with him, and he’s adamant there’s nothing going on. I believe him on that right now. He is a very friendly person with everyone. He said he hid the texts from me because he knows it makes me anxious.”
What upsets her about this is that she has never mentioned her anxiety to her husband or pointed out her boundaries to him.
If her husband already knows that his relationship with Carly gives her anxiety, she doesn’t understand why he keeps doing what he’s doing.
She’s left wondering if she’s unnecessarily worrying or if her husband is giving her a good reason to be concerned.
“I have no problem with them being friends; I just feel like this is leading to a bond that’s more than friends,” she concluded.
