When TikToker Jade (@jadedeville0) was younger, she had three imaginary friends named Forty, Fifty, and Lisa. Lisa lived under the porch. Fifty was also around, but Forty was Jade’s best friend.

After she and her family moved away, she never heard from Lisa again because Lisa ended up staying at the old house. Then, while Jade was at her grandparents’ house, her grandpa ran over Fifty with his car and killed her.

Forty stuck around for a long time. She would often say mean things about Jade’s mom, and Jade would tell her mom about it. On the day that Jade and Forty parted ways, they had gotten into a heated argument.

“My dad was driving, and my mom was in the passenger seat,” Jade recalled. “We were going down the highway of some sort or on the road, and I told my dad to pull over.”

After some back and forth, her parents agreed to pull over to the side of the road. Jade kicked Forty out of the car, and that was the last time they ever spoke. Jade never brought her up again.

Years later, when Jade was 17, her mom saw a documentary with her brother-in-law about a little girl who had a demon attached to her, and believe it or not, the demon’s name was Forty.

“They all think that I was crazy, and that maybe a demon was attached to me, too,” said Jade.

“Because every memory that I have as a child with these imaginary friends was very vivid. Like, I had them for way too long. It was super creepy.”

To this day, her mom thinks that a demon was attached to Jade because the little girl in the documentary went through the exact same experiences. So, that’s how Jade’s imaginary friend ended up on TV.

Many TikTok users shared their own childhood stories about having imaginary friends in the comments section.

“My imaginary friend was a caveman named Buddy, and he had an ice cream truck. One day, he left to Phoenix because he thought there was more opportunity for him out there. I hope he found what he was looking for,” commented one user.

“My brother had an imaginary friend named Michael when he was like three or four years old. As he got older, maybe five or six, he was afraid of him. He locked him in an old chest we had and stored stuff on top of it. He would scream if anyone went near the chest. He still doesn’t talk about Michael. He said he had blonde hair and blue eyes,” wrote another.

“I had an imaginary friend named Jerry, and one day, Jerry got an imaginary dog, and my aunt wouldn’t let his dog in her house, and I never saw him again,” shared a third.
