What day would be complete without mentioning some type of digital frame…TRENDnet has just released a new twist on an old concept. Launched today the first 7″ Wireless Internet Camera and Photo Monitor aka TV-M7. This particular frame can be used to display your digital photos but also connects to your network to detect wireless TRENDnet security cameras so it can stream video from them.”Users previously needed a computer to view streaming video from Internet security cameras, with the TV-M7 users can view video while their computer is turned off. The devise also enables users to monitor up to 4 TRENDnet Internet cameras on one screen or scan between cameras to wirelessly monitor key entry points, property, public areas, baby rooms, warehouses, office environments and other sensitive areas.” It will also play personal videos as well as music files in many different formats. There is 512MB of built in storage but that can be expanded with memory cards. The frame is a bit pricey at $320 but atleast it does more than loop boring pictures.
