In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Kingston released a limited edition USB key with the symbol of an Ox on their Kingston Chinese site. The Ox is the animal symbol for this Chinese New Year which represents hard work but also prosperity. When I first spotted it, I just thought it was another fake USB key using a company’s branding without permission. However, after further digging, it turns out that it is indeed an official USB key and if you can read Chinese, there is a whole seperate Kingston blog dedicated to the Chinese new year and this special edition USB flash drive. And for a change, Americans are in luck if they want to score one for themselves. For only $18.90 you can get a 4GB capacity one at i-Pmart.
