Vivitar is known for their affordable digicams and after recently being purchased by Sakar, they are finally starting to show off their new lineup. Amongst their new selection of ultracompacts is the ViviCam 8027 which especially caught our attention because of its very retro design that sports a metallic body complemented by a leather like finish that is available in black, red, or yellow. Feature wise the camera packs a 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 2.4″ lcd screen, 3X optical zoom, antishake technology, a movie mode and red eye reduction. No word on pricing but we imagine it will have a $100 price tag or perhaps even less.
