Philips isn’t the first to come out with a product like this, but it’s good to see more competition heating up in this space. The Wireless HD Link helps tidy up your home entertainment theater by sending HD 1080P video to your HDTV. With a range of up to 75 feet, it essentially replaces all those nasty tangled cables that connect your TV to your cable box, HD satellite receiver and Blu-ray player. It will be available in Q4 for $799. But no one said that getting rid of wires would come cheap.
