Insignia Infocast 3.5″ is Chumby's Broodier Brother

It’s no secret that the folks behind Chumby have lent their software to Best Buy’s Insignia line of electronics. Until now there was only the Infocast 8″ Internet Media Display. Now Insignia has come out with the smaller Insignia Infocast 3.5″, which certainly does resemble the friendlier looking Chumby. The more professional looking Infocast 3.5″ has all the same features as the larger 8″ model – a 800MHz processor, 2GB memory, 3.5″ LCD touch-screen display, 7-in-1 media reader, Drag-and-drop interface, built-in high-speed wireless LAN, and lastly it’s running the Chumby (Linux 2.6) OS. The Insignia Infocast 3.5″ Internet Media Display will retail for $99.99 and should look great sitting next to your BlackBerry.
