Just a heads up to all iOS users, the iOS 6.1 update is now available and ready for download. The update is good for iPhone 3GS and up, iPad 2 and up, and the 4th generation Pod Touch and up. This one is a pretty minor update, adding a few new features and more international LTE support for the iPhone 5.
Maybe the biggest new feature is that the Siri can be used to order movie tickets through integration with Fandango, a feature that is only available in the United States. The ability to download individual songs from iCloud has been restored for iTunes Match subscribers, a feature that was lost in the iOS 6 update. There’s also a new button to reset the Advertising Identifier, if you want to disable ad tracking on your device.
Aside from that, there’s the standard bevy of bug fixes, and expanded LTE support for the iPhone 5 (you can see a full list of all carriers here).
