The iPhone 5S is not available for pre-order, so you’ll have to toss your hat into the ring when the phone officially becomes available on September 20. The 16 GB model, 32 GB model, and 64 GB model will be available for $200, $300, and $400 each, respectively. But, lest we forget, AT&T now has AT&T Next, their new monthly payment program that allows you to get a phone with no money down and upgrade to a new phone after one year, instead of two. If you go that route, the three models will be yours for $27, $32, and $37 per month.
Then, we have the iPhone 5C, the budget (?) iPhone. This one you can pre-order – as a matter of fact, you can pre-order it right now. Like the iPhone 5S, it will ship on September 20. The iPhone 5C will come in 16 GB and 32 GB models, for $100 and $200. If you use AT&T Next, that will be $22 and $27 per month, respectively. I’m not sure that those prices constitute what most would describe as ‘budget,’ but it’s low-cost for a new Apple device, so there you go.
If you really want to get a new phone on the cheap, you can always get a new 8 GB iPhone 4S, which will be yours for $0.99, or $17 per month with AT&T Next.
You can head over to the AT&T Shop now for more information, or to pre-order the iPhone 5C.
