The recently announced Nokia Lumia 1520, Nokia’s high-end Windows Phone 8 entry into the 6” smartphone market, has gotten a release date and price for the U.S., and it’s coming to AT&T very soon.
Come November 22, the Lumia 1520 will be available in AT&T stores for $200 with a two-year contract or $27 per month on the AT&T Next installment payment program. It’s a strong contender this holiday season for those into the 6” market, featuring a 1080p display, LTE and NFC capabilities, and, as with any high-end Lumia smartphone, a monster camera – a 20 MP PureView with an app that lets you adjust flash, focus, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and exposure. If you want a smartphone that takes high-end digital camera quality pictures, this is probably the one you want.
Initially, only a 16 GB model of the Lumia 1520 will be available, although a 32 GB model is expected in the future. You can pre-order the Lumia 1520 from AT&T now. If you do get the phone through AT&T, you’ll get a $20 store credit to the Windows Phone store and 50 GB worth of cloud storage from AT&T Locker.
