A Year After Murdering His Pregnant Wife & Two Young Daughters, Chris Watts Says He’s A Changed Man

August 13th, 2019, marked a year since Chris Watts brutally murdered his pregnant wife, 34-year-old Shanann Cathryn Watts, along with their two young daughters 4-year-old Bella Marie Watts and 3-year-old Celeste Cathryn Watts.

And it was just last month, around what would have been Celeste’s 4th birthday, that Chris wrote a letter to his mom from jail, claiming that he’s a changed man. He says he’s since found god and turned to religion.

Cindy Watts, this murderer’s mom, spoke to HLN in the special they ran called Killer Dad: Chris Watts Speaks.

While Cindy was being interviewed, she read aloud from this chilling letter Chris sent to her.

“I’m still a Dad! I’m still a son! No matter what,” Chris wrote in his letter to his mom.

“Now, I can add servant of God to that mix! He has shown me peace, peace, love and forgiveness, and that’s how I live every day.”

In November of 2018, Chris pled guilty to murdering Shanann, Bella, Celeste, and unborn Nico.

Chris is 33-years-old and currently behind bars, serving several life sentences for murdering his entire family in cold blood.

Serving his time in Wisconsin, Chris is on lockdown 23 out of 24 hours every single day.

From his cell, Chris has not much to do to keep himself occupied. He is permitted to have a bible.

Instagram; Shanann captioned the photo above with, “4 years ago I married my best friend, my soul mate, my love! These last 6 years together have been the best years of my life and they are just getting started! We are blessed with two beautiful girls and I am looking forward to our future!”

He’s also permitted to have photos of the family that he so disgustingly murdered, and he talks to the photos of Shanann, Bella, and Celeste as if they are still here.

Chris also reads a book out loud to the photos of his daughters Bella and Celeste every single night, in lieu of the bedtime stories he read them in person.

Thankfully, Chris will never be eligible for parole, so the rest of his time spent on this earth will be spent in jail.

Here’s everything you need to know about the disturbing murders of Chris’s wife, daughters, and unborn son.
