Dolly Drive Brings Time Machine to the Cloud

Set to debut at MacWorld this week, Dolly Drive is a new online backup solution that takes Time Machine backups and stores them in the cloud. That means that Mac users can access their Time Machine backups from wherever they are, even if they don’t have their hard drive with them that contains the Time Machine backup. You can use Dolly Drive alone or you can use it in conjunction with a Time Machine backup. Pricing begins at $5.00 a month for 50GB of storage to up-to $10 a month for 250GB of storage. Overall, Dolly sounds like a great backup solution for Mac Users. But we cant help but think that Apple themselves will eventually come out with a similar cloud-based service of their own for Time Machine.
