This TikToker Was The Ultimate Bride On A Budget And Got Her Wedding Dress For Only $47

Shein– the e-commerce clothing company launched in 2008– offers arguably the most affordable clothes on the web. The trendy styles, coupled with their low cost, have catapulted the company to international popularity.
In 2020, Shein earned generated $10 billion in revenue alone, according to Coresight Research. And aside from the famous crop tops and bodysuits, Shein actually offers exceptionally affordable wedding dresses.
Forget your traditional options for wedding dress shopping. Some brides-to-be are really turning to the emerging fashion giant for their special gown.
One woman named Kiara recently hopped on the Shein train and shared her gown with the TikTok community.
“My dress was forty-seven dollars on Shein,” Kiara wrote over her TikTok, which featured numerous clips of her in the dress.
The flare wedding dress features a plunging neckline, an open back with ruching, and a slight train. The fabric also gives off a similar shine to silk.
Kiara did look amazing in this dress. The TikTok community thought so, too.
Her video reached over nine hundred and sixty thousand viewers and gained one hundred and ten thousand likes. Moreover, twelve hundred commenters praised Kiara’s decision to buy an affordable gown.

“I’ve been trying to tell y’all that the cost of things does not matter. It is how you put it together and wear it. And baby, you put it together and wore it!” commented one supportive user.
“The days of getting wedding dresses in the thousands are OVERRR,” agreed a second user.
“I love that people are realizing how paying the price of a car for a dress you will wear once does not make any damn sense. Love this!’ chimed in a third commenter.
Aside from her wedding dress, Kiara made other smart moves to save on her self-proclaimed “cheap wedding.” She created a follow-up video with advice for other brides on a budget.
“We did it by having our wedding at a free public place. So, we did not have to pay for a venue. The only thing we did pay for was chairs and the arch,” Kiara began.
“We also had the help of our family members. So, the runner we had, the cake, and the flowers were all gifted to us,” she continued.
And for the reception, Kiara and her partner went to a lounge.
“They had music, they had drinks, and they had a bar. It was classy. We basically just took a place that already had everything we wanted and migrated over there,” Kiara said.
Still, because the wedding took place in a public place and no permits were granted, the guest list had to remain tight.
“We kind of had an elopement-type wedding with just our immediate family and super close friends. We had about thirty to forty people there, which helped us be able to migrate to the hotel lounge,” Kiara finished.
While this wedding style may not be for everyone, it could undoubtedly help a hopeful couple looking to save.
