She quickly reminded Annie that they had to serve that woman, regardless of whether or not she seemed pregnant to them.
She was not about to let Annie ruin everything and get her in trouble for a glass of wine.
She also had no clue what that woman’s medical history was, and she reasoned that she might not even be pregnant, and it wasn’t technically her business to worry about that.
“I left it at that,” she said. “Over the next two weeks, Annie went on a tirade about how I was a terrible person, was going to hell, was a baby killer, etc.”
“Eventually, I got fed up and reported her to the GM. This situation, along with her frequent call-offs and bad attitude, got her fired.”
“I feel bad, but I had a job to do, and I feel like her rants were unnecessary.”
She’s left wondering if it was wrong to speak up about Annie, which ultimately led to her being fired.
