Instead, she took her niece to get a Happy Meal. She also got her a milkshake, fruit snacks, and cookies too.
By noon, which was the end of lunchtime at school, she took her niece back to class, and her niece had her milkshake and Happy Meal box in her hands.
“Teacher saw this and was fuming,” she said. “I guess she told my sister what happened because shortly after, I got a call from my sister saying I was being petty and should’ve just dropped off a new sandwich.”
She’s left wondering if it really was so petty of her to take her niece out for a Happy Meal when the teacher tossed her lunch in the garbage.
