So, if you could not have guessed, her ex-boyfriend got all upset and ended up leaving after she said that. Then, he reportedly called Linda and complained about the remark.
This prompted Linda to actually bring up her comment when they talked recently, and Linda claimed that even though it was technically true, the remark was hurtful, and she should not have said it. Linda also apparently seemed pretty sad, and she felt like total garbage for disappointing her.
In turn, she ended up apologizing to Linda and even calling up her ex to apologize to him, too. Still, her ex was not really satisfied with the apology and accused her of being a total jerk for turning his family against him.
“I guess he called other family members, and they also said he was not as good for me as my husband. And a few were less complimentary than that,” she added.
So, ever since then, she has honestly felt really terrible. At first, she thought she had a right to put her ex in his place after he left her high and dry with their child, all alone.
But, after seeing all of the family drama her comment created and watching her ex be basically exiled from his family, she has started to wonder if she should have just “kept her big mouth shut.”
Do you think her ex asked for it after he tried to blame the end of their relationship on her post-partum depression? If her ex’s whole family believes that her husband is an upgrade, did her ex have a right to know that or not? If you had been in her shoes, would you have spilled the beans or kept your mouth shut?
