After she made that comment, though, she got accused of shaming her friend for being a single mother.
And unfortunately, though, the drama did not stop there. She claimed that she tried to reiterate her comment– pointing out how not everyone cares about Kate the same way and how Ann constantly talking about Kate can get exhausting.
So, that was the icing on the cake for Ann– who just got really angry at her and told her to leave. She did leave after her friend asked her to, and she just went home afterward. But then, the following morning, she woke up to a ton of angry messages from her friends.
Apparently, they told her that since Ann is a struggling mom, she should have shown her a lot more support. While she does feel bad about how she phrased her point to Ann, though, she still doesn’t believe she was wrong for being honest.
“I do understand that Kate is a very big part of Ann’s life and that she wants to talk about her. But I think there is a healthy limit to that,” she vented.
Regardless, with Ann and the rest of her friends angry at her, she has still been left wondering whether telling Ann that she is losing friends because her world revolves around Kate makes her a real jerk or not.
