She knows that other spouses and significant others were invited, yet he claims it never crossed his mind to invite her too.
“Then I found out that the significant others regularly participated in social events during the last few years, but I was never invited by him,” she said.
“It seems like I have been a discarded afterthought. I decided not to attend the ceremony since he doesn’t seem to think my 4 years of support and sacrifice meant anything.”
“I have expressed my feelings to him and my reasoning for not going, but he doesn’t seem to get it. I don’t feel like I’m overreacting, but maybe I am.”
