“I still went through with the date the conversation was good but there was no way I would go on the second date given the deception.”
He really did want to get the heck out of there as soon as he laid eyes on her, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do something hurtful like that.
He figured that was way too much of a mean move, even if he would have been able to justify his actions. Since that catfish date, he’s been left wondering what the right thing to even do in a situation like that is.
And, he did wind up sending this girl a text message stating that he did have a nice time, but the photos she used were too deceptive for him. He ended things by saying he was not interested in going out on another date with her, but that he wished her all the best.
Right after he sent that, he noticed she had unmatched him on the app he met her on, so he’s positive she got his message yet won’t be replying back.
“I am probably going to do a video call before the first date now because I never want to be in this situation again,” he said.
“But would you guys not go through with the date in these situations?”
