“But he and I already went through this the week prior.” Well, his response to her texts wasn’t positive at all.
He stated that her overthinking was problematic for him, and due to this, he wasn’t sure he felt the need to keep dating her.
She then decided to tell her mom and her friends about what happened and asked for their advice. She did give this guy space for several hours, but then she sent him an apology text.
She then explained that she would work on herself to prevent this from happening in the future.
“He read the message but only replied with “What did your friends say?” and didn’t say anything else,” she continued.
“I’m not sure what to do now. He’s in Italy for two weeks, so we can only communicate digitally. I plan on giving him more space, but I’m unsure if that will help or what else I need to do to fix the situation I created.”
