Back in high school, TikToker Allie (@alliexblue) was terrified of staying home alone. Every time she did stay home alone, she always heard strange noises. Her parents told her that it was just the sound of the house settling.
One time, her parents went out of the country, so she invited her best friend to stay with her. At one point, they left the house to get dinner.
Before they left, Allie made sure to check every single door to make sure they were locked.
When they returned, they were laughing and giggling about something as best friends do, so it took her a minute to realize that the back door off the deck was cracked open. She noticed it when she felt a cold breeze coming into the kitchen. Then, she saw snow tracked in from the back door.
She had a dog that knew how to open doors, but all the doors were locked. They went upstairs and tried to ignore it. While they were lying in bed and laughing, they heard a loud bang downstairs. They stopped laughing immediately, and Allie’s dog started barking.
Allie got the feeling that there was someone in the house. They decided to go out the front door and ran to their car. They locked themselves in the car with the dog and called the non-emergency line for the police in case they were just being dramatic and paranoid.
A police officer arrived and searched the area. He used his flashlight to check every inch of the house. When he came back out, he told Allie and her friend that it looked like someone was in the house.
There were footprints in the snow around every door to the house and going up and down the deck.
Even though the doors were locked, there was no sign of forced entry. Allie decided to sleep at her friend’s house and brought the dog with her. Once her parents got home, they searched the house, but nothing was taken or moved.

Based on what the police officer said, the footprints most likely belonged to a man. It was one of the scariest nights of her life. Nothing creepy would ever happen when her parents were home, but when she was home alone, she always heard noises.
Allie noted that she did have a stalker in high school, but was not sure if he would ever take things this far. It would explain a lot of things, though.
“My husband says the person knew you were home alone and then left when they realized your friend was there because it’s too hard to take 2 people,” one person commented on Allie’s video.
“In high school, someone tried breaking in when I was home alone. My heart still drops whenever someone knocks, especially if I’m home alone,” another person added.
“Hopefully, there wasn’t a man literally living in your house without you or your family knowing,” a third person said.
