After going on the worst date of her life in Denver, TikToker Ashley (@ashleyyyyyyy1738) is more than ready to dish about it on the internet.
She admits that she may have made some poor judgment calls, but the audacious behavior that her date displayed was the most diabolical thing out of the whole situation.
She matched with a guy on a dating app, and they met up at a brewery for their first date. He got there before and had already ordered a drink.
When she walked in, she expected him to buy her a drink because that was the gentlemanly thing to do, but she ended up having to pay for her own drink. It understandably put her off.
The conversation went well, though. She talked about how she had recently moved into a new apartment and needed help mounting her TV.
He offered to help and bragged about how handy he was for the whole date. He claimed he was good at construction because he had built his parents’ house.
She thought that she could at least get some manual labor out of this date, but she was sorely mistaken and regrets inviting him over to her place.
After the date, he went back to her apartment with her. She gathered all the tools that were needed to mount the TV. He investigated the tools and TV, acting like he was going to work on it, but right after that, he declared that he would mount the TV if she let him feel her chest.
Of course, Ashley said no, and he proceeded to walk out the door.

“I can’t even make that up,” she said. “Where are the morals? Who raised these men? Lost words. I blocked him on everything…It really can’t get much worse than that.”
In the comments section, several TikTok users joined in the conversation about how bad dating in Denver is.
“The last date I went on in Denver was so rough, too. The guy talked about mayonnaise for 30 minutes (after like five, I genuinely just wanted to see how long he would go) and then let me walk to my car in the dark while he waited for his valet. Genuinely wish all these dates are just jokes, but I’m scared these men are so for real,” commented one user.
“I showed up to [the] Christmas market in Denver to go on a date, found the date with a drink in his hand already, never getting mine,” shared another.
“I used to test guys when dating. I put a picture leaning against the wall, and if they just walked by it and didn’t mention that they could hang it for me or at all, red flag. Let’s just say it took me a very long time to find my husband in Denver. But he is from Georgia,” added someone else.
