Just because you broke your arm or sprained your neck, that doesn’t mean you should be without your gadgets for six weeks while you are on the mend. Francesca Lanzavecchia, obtained her Masters Degree at the Design Academy of Eindhoven by doing her thesis project on “ProAesthetics Supports”: The Perception of Disability through its Artifacts”. If you take a look at some of the images you will see that she puts a new twist on the body brace, neck brace, and cane. Making these once ugly plaster cast monsters into something trendy and more usable. If her designs become reality you can look stylish even answer the phone if you can’t turn your neck.
