The Powerplus Verio Wind-up MP3 Player is so ugly, that it even puts the very first original MP3 players to shame. The black and gray 1GB DAP is display-less, and style-less, though it can play WMA, OGG and ASF files aside from MP3s. Fortunately it does have a redeeming feature, and that is that it’s powered by winding it up. – No batteries required. 1 Minute of wind up = 15 to 20 minutes of music playback. In total you can get up to 4 hours of music listening time, which will give your hand a 20 minute winding up exercise session. To its credit the Verio Wind-Up MP3 player also has an integrated flashlight and mobile phone charger. So who is this MP3 player most suitable? We’re thinking outdoorsmen who aren’t near outlets very much, and will also appreciate the built-in flashlight and phone charger. The Powerplus Verio Wind-up MP3 Player retails for £39.10 (about $58 USD).
