sensacell 300x225 Sensacell Modular Sensor Surface is the Future of Store DisplaysSensacell is a unique company that designs and produces different interactive objects that respond by using built in sensors. They’ve designed all sorts of cool projects, including an interactive coffee table and some specialized interactive objects designed especially for clubs. Today we spotted one of their products while strolling around in South Beach. One of the local realty storefronts is using one of Sensacell’s products to showcase real estate listings. What first caught our attention was the fact that this device looked a lot like a giant MP3 player. We then discovered that we could use the controls of the device just by hovering our hands over the forward and backward buttons. Cool stuff. It’s funny because the design that Sensacell is using for this device is more or less been around for years in small gadgets, but we’d never seen it used for a way to advertise something – and it really works. After all, it got our attention.
