Brookstone iDesign 2-in-1 MicroSystem Looks Like it Wants to be a TV

The iDesign 2-in-1 MicroSystem for iPod and iPhone reminds me of the iLuv i1166 portable multimedia system. Sadly that is not really a good thing. This system too is kind of ugly and looks like a cheap TV more so than a multimedia system.  You can dock your iPod/iPhone and it also plays a music CD, but not DVDs. However the video out jack lets you send iPod/iPhone video to your TV or computer. The system can also be mounted – big whoop. Some other features are a FM tuner with a 30-station memory and built-in alarm clock. The iDesign 2 in 1 MicroSystem retails for $99.95 at Brookstone.
