iPad 2 Launch Gets Delayed in Japan

Unfortunately, this will hardly come as a surprise to Apple fans, but Apple has delayed the launch of the iPad 2 in Japan. Initially, the Japanese launch was set for March 25th, but in the wake of Japan’s recent 8.9 magnitude earthquake and the following tsunamis, Apple has decide to reschedule.
According to Reuters, about 5% of Apple’s revenue came from Japan in the 4th quarter of 2010, for a total revenue of about 1.4 billion. Overall, it’s definitely not turning out to be the best of days for Apple. Despite the success of the iPad 2, Apple stock fell by 7 points today.
