The iDJ Pro is designed specifically for the iPad to complement those existing DJ apps, in particular Algoriddim’s djay app. The iPad fits into the iDJ snugly to create one unified DJ controller that provides a full complement of tools for amateurs and pros alike to play with.

While using the Numark iDJ Pro, mixers will have access to all the touchscreen controls for their DJ app on the iPad and access to the console’s controls, including touch-sensitive platters, volume knobs, a scroll knob for your iPad’s music library, and controls for hot cues, looping, pitch, and effect.

The iDJ Pro is also compatible with other Core MIDI-enabled apps, and works with AirPlay so you can use AirPlay compatible speakers to get the party started off right. No word yet on release date or pricing information.
