This hand-activated iPhone speaker resembles some sort of futuristic flying machine, and lives up to the futuristic promise of its looks. You can control the basic functions of the speakers using hand gestures. There’s a sensor in the body that controls volume, and separate sensors on the left and right wings to change tracks. A final sensor in the nose serves as the play/pause button. I’m not sure how accurate that will all be in practice, but there it is – gesture-based control for your iPhone dock.
Only problem is that it’s not compatible with the iPhone 5 – 30-pin connector devices only. You can connect any device using the headphone jack, it just won’t look like your spacecraft speaker thing has a cool iPhone pilot. In fact, you can forget about wires and hard connections altogether – the speaker supports Bluetooth connections, as well.
