What a world we’re living in. No longer do we need to give measured thought to creating two-in-one products. We can now throw literally any two things together and make it work. Go on, put a clothing iron and a router together. Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t combine a wireless mouse and a fork. We live in a world with teddy bear fish tanks, a world where anything is possible.
The Teddy Tank is a stuffed animal with a plastic fishbowl for a torso. It’s not all teddy bears, either—there are 12 to choose from, including ten other animals and two teddy bears. But, when you have the name ‘Teddy Tank’ laying right there in front of you, you have to take it.
Teddy Tanks make feeding the fish a little more fun. Kids can feed their fish by putting the food in the stuffed animal’s mouth, which will probably be mesmerizing enough for young kids to where you might want to make sure they don’t overfeed the fish. Alternately, you can use the Teddy Tank as storage for whatever fits into a fishbowl, like LEGO bricks or gumballs.
The only real bummer here is that kids can’t really cuddle with Teddy Tanks, which is probably the number one reason stuffed animals exist. But, they’re more fun than the average fish tank, and it doesn’t hurt that they’re kinda cute. Each Teddy Tank costs $20, plus about $8 for shipping and handling.
