Smartphones and tablets are the best for taking notes. They’re good for lecture halls, when you’re expecting to take notes, and they’re even better for pretty much everywhere else, where you’re not expecting to take notes. But, sometimes typing those notes kinda sucks all the creative energy out of the enterprise. So, today holds good news for Android tablet owners.
OneNote for Android tablets now features handwriting support. You can now scrawl notes with a stylus or your finger over any image or file you can upload to OneNote. Because Android tablets have digitizers built it, you can set pen settings to make your handwritten notes come out thicker or thinner, and, more importantly, legible. There have also been some UI tweaks to make OneNote more optimized for tablet use.
The new OneNote for Android tablets has just come out of beta, and is available to everyone.
